Privacy and cookies
We only collect what you type into the quote or contact form, to answer you. We keep it for 3 years after our last exchange. Analytics cookies are only set if you agree.
Data controller
The data controller is the site publisher, Dekorenov, 8 rue Joseph Marie Jacquard, 10600 La Chapelle-Saint-Luc, France; full company details are in the legal notice. For any question about your data: contact@dekorenov.com.
Data collected
- Name, phone number, email address and the town or village of the project.
- The service chosen, stone, dimensions and your message.
- Up to 5 photos, 8 MB each at most.
- The language and page the request was sent from.
- A hashed fingerprint of your IP address, used against automated spam. The IP address itself is not stored in readable form.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. Without these details, no quote can be prepared.
Recipients
Only Dekorenov reads requests. The site and its database are hosted by o2switch, 222 Boulevard Gustave Flaubert, 63000 Clermont-Ferrand, on servers in France. If Cloudflare Turnstile spam protection is switched on, Cloudflare processes technical browsing data to check that a human sent the form. Nothing is sold or rented.
Retention
A request that does not lead to a job is deleted 3 years after the last exchange, the period the CNIL recommends for prospects. Attached photos are deleted at the same time. If the request becomes a job, sales and accounting records are kept for the legal periods, 10 years for accounting documents.
Cookies and analytics
The site may use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to count visits. They only load after you agree in the consent banner. Refusing is as easy as accepting and does not block any page.
- _ga and _ga_<ID>: Google Analytics cookies that tell visitors apart, kept for 13 months at most.
- Consent cookie: remembers your choice for 6 months, after which the banner appears again.
Google Analytics is provided by Google, whose parent company is in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, recognised by the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023. Your light or dark display choice is stored in your browser only, with no cookie and nothing sent to the server.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability, and leave instructions about your data after death. Write to contact@dekorenov.com: you will get an answer within one month, as article 12 of the GDPR requires.
If you think your rights have not been respected, you can complain to the French regulator, the CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, or at cnil.fr. Residents of the UK can also contact the ICO.
