Stone kitchen worktops and islands
Kitchen worktops, islands, splashbacks and carved sinks in marble, granite, quartz or Dekton, made…
We fit marble, granite, quartz and Dekton worktops, vanity tops and stair treads in Reims. They are made at our workshop south of Reims, down the A26.

A fitted kitchen in a flat in the centre or a newer house in Bezannes, with a laminate top the owner wants to replace without touching the units. We lift the old top, measure, and fit stone on the existing cabinets.
Many buildings in the centre have small lifts and tight stairwells. Marble in 3 cm is about 80 kg per m², quartz in 2 cm about 48 kg. A 3 m marble run is close to 160 kg and won't go in a small lift. We put a joint at the sink or hob so it goes up in two pieces. In a house with ground-floor access, one 3 m piece is usually fine.
The worktop belongs to the landlord. Get written consent, and agree who keeps the stone when you leave. Then check the units, they have to be level, rigid and fixed to the wall. Sagging chipboard won't carry 160 kg.
In a city flat with a big south window, we'd steer you away from quartz, as strong sun can yellow the resin and a hot pan can mark it. Marble marks with lemon and wine, honed hides it best. If you want no worries at all, granite or Dekton take heat and acid. See marble and quartz.
You send the plan and photos, we come to measure once the units are in, cut at the workshop, then fit. Two to four weeks between measuring and fitting is common, depending on the slab. Travel costs are on the quote.
Want to see slabs first? We're open Saturday 10 am to 4.30 pm. See Champagne or call +33 7 45 20 76 39.

Usually not in one piece. A joint at the sink or hob lets it go up in two.
Only with the landlord's written consent.
Two to four weeks is common. It depends mostly on whether the slab is in stock.
Send your measurements or a photo of the room and we will call you back. The quote costs nothing.
