About the workshop
We are a stone workshop at 8 rue Joseph Marie Jacquard, in the western industrial estate of La Chapelle-Saint-Luc, near Troyes. We cut, finish and fit marble, granite, quartz, onyx and Dekton, and we sell slabs.
The workshop
Slabs are stored, cut and polished here. Come and choose yours, look at it in daylight and check the veins before we cut. If you're over for a long weekend, Saturday between 10:00 and 16:30 is usually easiest.
Fitting and slab sales
We make and fit everything from kitchen worktops to pool coping. We also sell slabs and offcuts to people whose own builder will fit them, or who want a piece for a coffee table. In 2023 our online shop listed 29 slabs, six of them onyx.
How a job goes
- Quote. Free, from a sketch, photos or a visit.
- Stone. You pick the actual slab at the workshop. We can hold two slabs from the same block if you want the veins to match.
- Measuring. Once the units are fixed and level. Old French walls are rarely square, and 3 mm shows at a joint.
- Cutting. Sink and hob cut-outs, edges, and a sealer where the stone needs it.
- Fitting. A 30 mm slab weighs about 80 kg per m², so there are always several of us.
The lead time is on the quote.
