Stone kitchen worktops and islands
Kitchen worktops, islands, splashbacks and carved sinks in marble, granite, quartz or Dekton, made…
Our workshop is in the south-west corner of the Grand Est, in the Aube. Champagne towns are one to one and a half hours away, Lorraine two to two and a half.

Without traffic, from La Chapelle-Saint-Luc. Strasbourg is about three and a half hours, too far for us.
A worktop means two trips, and at two hours each way that's eight hours of driving for one kitchen. For a standard granite top, a local fabricator who can come back quickly is the better choice, honestly. We make the trip for:
Jaumont in Metz, Meuse limestone round Saint-Dizier, pink sandstone in the Vosges. They're building stones, too porous for a worktop. Inside, we pick a marble, granite or quartzite in a related colour and hold a sample against the wall. Travertine and Galala go well with Jaumont.
Everywhere in the region, outdoor stone needs low absorption and a frost test. Polished marble outside is slippery in rain and ice, flamed granite is the usual answer. See the pool stone and frost guide.

No. Champagne yes, Lorraine for some jobs, Alsace usually not.
No, it's porous and soaks up oil and wine. Use a marble, granite or quartzite in a matching colour.
Rarely. It makes more sense for a particular slab, a table or several jobs on one route.
Send your measurements or a photo of the room and we will call you back. The quote costs nothing.
